The profession is small partly because few institutions teach it. According to the provider record, landscape architecture is offered at only a handful of institutions accredited by the South African Council for the Landscape Architectural Profession (SACLAP): the University of Cape Town, the University of Pretoria, Cape Peninsula University of Technology and Tshwane University of Technology.

The ILASA bursary
