For talented students with a passion for engineering, the AFROX Bursary program presents a golden opportunity to fuel your academic journey.

Not only does it financially support your studies in key engineering fields, but it also opens doors to valuable industry experience through vacation work placements.

AFROX Bursary Eligibility Criteria

1. Be a South African citizen.

2. Demonstrate strong academic performance with an average pass mark of 60% in your chosen engineering field.

3. Be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time for an undergraduate engineering degree at a recognized South African university.

4. Preference is given to individuals from previously disadvantaged groups.

AFROX Bursary Application Process

• Gather Necessary Documents:

Completed application form (downloadable from the AFROX website or career portal).

Certified copies of your academic transcripts and certificates.

Matric certificate and results.

Proof of South African citizenship (ID document).

Detailed CV highlighting academic achievements and extracurricular activities.

A motivational letter outlining your career aspirations and reasons for applying to the bursary program.

Two academic references (contact details and letters of recommendation).

AFROX Bursary Submission Methods

Selection Process For AFROX Bursary

1. Applications are carefully reviewed based on academic merit, potential, and alignment with AFROX’s values and business needs.

2. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for interviews.

3. Successful applicants will be notified directly and will need to accept the bursary offer within a specified timeframe.

AFROX Bursary Deadline

Applications for the bursary open on October 14th, and the deadline to apply is November 4th each year.

Interviews will be held in early December, and successful applicants will be notified by mid-December.

If chosen, you can look forward to the program starting in January.
