About Capitec Bursary 2026

The Capitec Bursary 2026 provides funding for full-time students, covering:

  • Full tuition and registration fees
  • Accommodation
  • Textbooks and study materials
  • Meal allowance
  • Stipends

The bursary also includes workplace exposure, personal development, and career-readiness training. Funding is renewable annually, subject to academic performance, student engagement, and sponsor budgets.

Work-back obligation: Students must work for Capitec for the same number of years funded. Failure to comply may require refunding bursary benefits with interest.

Who Can Apply

Eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Matric student (2026) or gap-year student after matric in 2026
  • Full-time registration at a DHET/CHE recognized tertiary institution

  2. Attach all required documents:
    • Certified ID of student and parents/guardians
    • Matric and/or academic transcripts
    • Proof of household income (payslips, SASSA grants, affidavits)
