City of Matlosana Bursary 2026 Requirements & Application

Investing in the future of Matlosana’s youth, the City of Matlosana Bursary offers diligent students the financial help they need to pursue their tertiary education. 

The bursary is a merit-based financial aid program established by the Matlosana Municipality in the North West Province of South Africa.

About the Bursary

This bursary is offered by the City Council of the City of Matlosana (North West Province). 

It is managed by the Office of the Executive Mayor via the Bursary Committee. 

The goal is to help academically deserving students from the Matlosana municipality with study costs at recognised South African tertiary institutions.

Fields of Study Funded

  • The bursary does not restrict applicants to a limited set of courses; all fields are considered.
  • However, preference is given to students studying in scarce skills sectors.

Benefits for Recipients

  • Helps cover tertiary study-related expenses such as tuition/course fees, books/materials, and living allowance (depending on need) as per the bursary description.

Eligibility Criteria

  2. Complete the application form and attach certified copies of the required documents.
  3. Submit the completed application to:
