Current Eskom operations

Eskom runs coal, hydro, gas and nuclear power stations as well as the national transmission grid. One of Eskom’s current priorities is the long-term operation of Koeberg Power Station near Cape Town, Africa’s only nuclear power station, whose units Eskom is working to keep running well beyond their original design life.
