About the Organisation

Concor is a major South African construction, infrastructure and mining services company. 

It provides bursaries as part of its commitment to developing skilled professionals in its sector, particularly in built environment, engineering, health & safety, and surveying.

Fields of Study Funded

Concor funds full-time undergraduate or National Diploma studies in disciplines including:

  1. Civil Engineering
  2. Quantity Surveying
  3. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
  4. Mining Engineering
  5. Building / Construction Management
  6. Land Surveying

Benefits for Recipients

The bursary generally covers full tuition fees. In past cycles, it also provided an accommodation allowance. 

Furthermore, recipients may gain access to practical, on-site exposure and mentorship through Concor’s Graduate Mentorship Programme.

Eligibility Criteria

You will need to satisfy all of the following:

  1. Be a South African citizen.
  2. Be under 30 years old.
  3. Be a full-time student studying toward a relevant Degree or National Diploma at a recognised university or university of technology in South Africa.
  4. Have successfully completed first year of study.
  5. Not already be receiving another bursary from another organisation.

How to Apply

  1. Applications are typically submitted online via Concor’s bursary portal or careers page.
  2. You will need to attach certified copies of supporting documents such as your ID, Matric certificate / latest results, academic transcripts, proof of registration or acceptance at the institution.

Required Documents

  • Certified copy of South African ID document.
    Certified Matric certificate or recent Grade 12 results.
  • Full academic transcript (if already in tertiary study).
  • Proof of registration or acceptance at a recognised South African university / university of technology.

Closing Date

Official 2026 closing date has not yet been published on Concor’s website.

In past years, applications closed around late October / early November.
