About the Seriti Bursary

The Seriti Bursary is open to South African citizens currently enrolled in their second, third, or fourth year of undergraduate studies, or pursuing an honours degree in geology, metallurgy, or environmental science.

2. Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
3. Mine Surveying
4. Geology

Seriti Bursary Requirements

2. Be currently enrolled or planning to enroll full-time for a tertiary qualification at a recognized South African university or university of technology.
3. Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or honours in one of the following fields:
   • Mining Engineering
   • Electrical Engineering
   • Mechanical Engineering
   • Mine Surveying
   • Geology
   • Metallurgical Engineering
   • Chemical Engineering
   • Environmental Science
4. Be in your second, third, or fourth year of study OR pursuing an honours degree in Geology, Metallurgical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
5. Demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum 60% average pass rate.
6. Demonstrate financial need.
