VerifiedPSG Financial Services is a JSE-listed wealth management, insurance and asset management group based in Stellenbosch. Its bursary programme funds students in their final undergraduate year or a postgraduate year in actuarial science, computing, engineering, mathematics and finance, and feeds them into PSG’s graduate internship programme.
About the PSG Bursary
The bursary is all-inclusive and covers:
- Registration and tuition fees.
- Accommodation.
- A textbook allowance, a meal allowance and a monthly allowance.
- A place on PSG’s certified graduate internship programme after graduation.
Fields of study
- BSc: Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematical Science.
- BEng: Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- BCom: Insurance and Risk Management, Investment Management.
PSG Bursary eligibility requirements
- South African citizen with Matric.
- Studying one of the degrees above at a South African university.
- Entering the final year of the undergraduate degree, or a postgraduate year, in 2027.
- A strong academic record. An average of 65% or more is a realistic benchmark.
- Demonstrated financial need.
How to apply for the PSG Bursary
- Go to the PSG CareerFocus portal at psg.co.za/careers and register an account.
- Find the bursary advert under reference PSG-96800 and complete the online application.
- Upload a certified copy of your ID, your full academic transcripts on the institution’s letterhead, and a CV.
- Submit before 20 December 2026. Shortlisted candidates are contacted within four weeks for assessments and interviews.
PSG Bursary closing date
Applications for 2027 close on 20 December 2026. PSG closes its round in late December each year.
