Siemens is a global technology company with a long history in South Africa in automation, rail, buildings and infrastructure. Its Engineering and Technology Bursary Programme funds students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds in electrical, electronic and computing fields.

Siemens has not published a closing date. The 2027 listings went up in July 2026, so apply as soon as possible because they can close once enough applications arrive.

2. Is this Siemens or Siemens Energy? +

This is the Siemens South Africa Engineering and Technology Bursary Programme. Siemens Energy is a separate company and advertises any bursaries on its own careers site.

3. Which fields? +

4. What marks do I need? +
