Cape Agulhas Municipality, which runs Bredasdorp, Napier, Struisbaai and the towns around Africa’s southernmost point, offers one of the broadest field lists of any small Western Cape municipality. Its bursary covers everything from civil engineering and finance to marine biology and tourism, and it is aimed squarely at local students from low-income homes.

Download the application form from capeagulhas.gov.za or collect it from the municipal offices when the advert appears.
Attach certified copies of your ID, Matric results, your most recent academic results and a progress report if you are studying, proof of tertiary admission, a motivation letter, your parents’ or guardians’ IDs and proof of income, and proof of residence in the municipality.
Hand-deliver or post the application to Cape Agulhas Municipality, 2 Van Riebeeck Street, Bredasdorp 7280, for the attention of Mrs L May, before the closing time. Faxed applications are not accepted.
