The Clicks Foundation is the social investment arm of Clicks Group, South Africa’s largest retail pharmacy chain. It funds students in the two fields the group needs most, pharmacy and information technology, and runs the pharmacist assistant learnerships that staff its dispensaries. Its IT bursary is aimed at students at Western Cape universities, near the group’s Cape Town head office.
About the Clicks Foundation Bursary
- IT bursary: undergraduate computer science and information technology, all specialisations, at accredited Western Cape universities.
- Pharmacy bursary: BPharm degrees at South African universities, with a work-back agreement at Clicks pharmacies.
- Covers registration fees, tuition and prescribed textbooks, with study aids where needed. Outstanding fees are excluded.
- Bursars get vacation work and are considered for the group’s graduate programmes.
Clicks Foundation Bursary eligibility requirements
- South African citizen aged 19 to 35 with a Matric certificate.
- Entering the second or third year of a listed degree in 2027.
- At least a 60% overall average.
- Not holding another bursary.
- Preference for students with disabilities and designated groups.
How to apply for the Clicks Foundation Bursary
- Go to the Clicks Group careers portal at clicksgroup.co.za/careers and open the bursary listing.
- Complete the online form and upload a certified ID, certified Matric certificate, your full academic record with latest results on the university’s letterhead, proof of 2027 registration and a medical doctor’s letter if you are claiming disability status.
- Submit before the closing date. Shortlisted candidates are contacted for assessments and interviews.
