Cipla South Africa, one of the country’s largest generic medicine manufacturers with plants in Durban and Cape Town, funds students across the sciences, engineering, commerce and health through its bursary programme. It pays study costs directly to the institution, gives bursars vacation work and moves them into its Graduate Skills Programme, and it sets a high academic bar of 70%.

How to apply for the Cipla Bursary
- Open the bursary listing on Cipla South Africa’s careers portal, linked from cipla.co.za, when the call opens.
- Upload, in PDF, a one-page CV with a photograph, your ID number and contact details, your latest results, and the invoices, statements or quotes for the tuition, accommodation, books and equipment you are requesting. Private accommodation needs a lease or a landlord’s affidavit.
- Submit online before the closing date. Emailed applications are not accepted, and approved funding is paid directly to the institution.
