The Old Mutual Accounting Bursary is designed to support exceptional South African students pursuing an undergraduate Accounting Science degree (Chartered Accounting Stream).

The bursary covers tuition fees, study materials, accommodation in residence, and even return flights home (if studying outside your hometown).

Old Mutual Accounting Bursary Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Old Mutual Accounting Bursary, you must meet the following criteria:
Matric Students/Students not yet Studying:
- South African Citizen
- Under 21 years old
- Currently in Matric OR have completed Matric
- No prior post-Matric qualifications
- Intending to study Accounting Science (Chartered Accounting Stream)
- Applied to one of the listed universities (University of Cape Town, University of Stellenbosch etc.)
- Achieved a minimum of 70% for Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy) in Matric
- Achieved a minimum of 60% for English HL or 70% for English FAL in Matric
- Achieved a minimum of 70% for all other subjects in Matric
- Committed to entering the Old Mutual CA Training Programme and working for the company after graduation
University Students:
- South African Citizen
- Under 25 years old
- Completed Matric
- Studying Accounting Science (Chartered Accounting Stream)
- Studying at one of the listed universities (University of Cape Town, University of Stellenbosch etc.)
- Achieved a minimum of 60% for core modules (Financial Accounting, Taxation, Management Accounting, Auditing)
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 60% for all modules
- Committed to entering the Old Mutual CA Training Programme and working for the company after graduation
