Old Mutual Actuarial Bursary Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Old Mutual Actuarial Bursary, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. South African Citizenship
  2. Under 21 years old
  3. Completed or currently enrolled in Matric (no post-matric qualifications)
  4. Pursuing or intending to pursue an undergraduate Actuarial Science qualification
  5. Studying or applying to study at one of the six designated universities mentioned above
  6. Minimum of 80% in Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy) in Matric
  7. Minimum of 60% for English HL or 70% for English FAL in Matric
  8. Minimum of 70% for all other Matric subjects
  9. Commitment to qualifying as an actuary and working for Old Mutual after graduation
