The ClubX bursary has no annual closing date.
VerifiedClubX is the customer magazine sent to account holders of The Foschini Group (TFG) stores, and its publisher, TFG Media, runs a rolling bursary for subscribers and their immediate families. The awards are small, R10 000 each, but they are frequent, open to school and tertiary fees alike, and have almost no academic hurdle, which makes them one of the easiest bursaries in the country to try for.
About the ClubX Magazine Bursary
- Value: R10 000 per award in the current rules; earlier rounds paid R15 000 or R20 000.
- Paid directly to the school or institution, and valid for six months if unclaimed.
- Can be used for fees at any South African school or higher learning institution, full-time, part-time or by correspondence. International institutions are excluded.
- One bursary per person every six months; several awards are made each round.
ClubX Bursary eligibility requirements
- A current ClubX subscriber with an up-to-date subscription, or the subscriber’s spouse, parent, child, sibling or grandchild.
- Enrolled at a South African school or higher learning institution.
- Not awarded a ClubX bursary in the previous six months.
How to apply for the ClubX Bursary
- Open the bursary form at tfgmedia.co.za/clubx-bursary.
- Complete the form and upload a motivation letter, a personal photograph, a copy of the account holder’s ID, a signed enrolment confirmation letter from the institution and the institution’s banking details on a signed letterhead.
- Submit within the current window. Winners are notified and the award is paid to the institution.
