Application Form and Submission for the Bitou Municipality Bursary

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Download and complete the official application form. Ensure all sections are filled accurately and neatly.
2. Attach certified copies of the following documents:
   • Your South African ID document
   • Your Matric results or certificate
   • Your full academic record (if currently at tertiary level)
   • Proof of acceptance at a recognized tertiary institution (for existing students)
   • Proof of total household income of parents or legal guardian

Bitou Municipality Bursary Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Bitou Municipality Bursary, you must meet the following criteria:

1. South African citizenship: You must be a South African citizen by birth or naturalization.
2. Bitou Municipality residency: You must reside within the Bitou Municipality boundaries.
3. Education background: You must be currently in Grade 12 (in 2024) or have completed Matric.
4. Field of study: You must be intending to study, or currently be enrolled in, a full-time qualification within one of the eligible fields listed above.
5. Financial need: You must demonstrate financial need and be unable to afford your tertiary education without financial assistance.
6. Academic performance: You must maintain a good academic record, with a minimum average of 60% in your previous studies.

The closing date for the Bitou Municipality Bursary application is 26 January 2024. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.
