In order for you to be eligible for the Keaton Energy Mining Bursaries, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be under or turning 21 during your first year of study and under or turning 23 during your second year of study.
- Be a full-time student at an accredited South African university or Institute of Technology, studying a bachelor’s degree (University) or National Diploma/National Technical Diploma/B Tech qualification (Institute of Technology) in one of the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current & Light Current)
- Extraction Metallurgy
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mine Survey
- Mining Engineering
- Geology (for undergraduate and honors degrees)
- Be medically fit, as proven by a medical certificate.
