  1. Write an application letter describing your social background, your academic record and your family’s employment situation.
  2. Attach a certified ID, your Matric results or certificate, proof of university admission and residence acceptance, proof of residence from your ward councillor or traditional authority, your parents’ or guardians’ certified IDs or death certificates, proof of disability if applicable, and an affidavit confirming that the information is true.
  3. Post it to the Municipal Manager, OR Tambo District Municipality, Private Bag X6043, Mthatha, 5099, or hand-deliver it to the Registry Office, OR Tambo House, Nelson Mandela Drive, Mthatha. Emailed and faxed applications are not accepted.
