Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent Bursary Requirements

For all applicants to be eligible for the MISA Bursary Programme, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Be a South African citizen
2. Be enrolled in, or be applying to, a recognized South African university for a full-time undergraduate degree program in a field relevant to municipal infrastructure development (refer to the “Fields Covered” section below for specific programs)
3. Demonstrate academic potential (good academic record for continuing students)
4. Have a total combined household income below a certain threshold (the specific amount may vary but is typically around R600,000 per annum)
5. Preference will be given to students from rural areas and previously disadvantaged communities
