Do you dream of pursuing postgraduate studies in Ireland and building valuable cross-cultural connections?

If so, the Kader Asmal Fellowship Programme (KAFP) might be the perfect opportunity for you.

This prestigious fellowship is named after the late South African Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kader Asmal.

It supports high-potential individuals committed to driving positive change in their communities.

By providing funding for Master’s degrees in Ireland, the KAFP equips future leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle difficult challenges.

About the Kader Asmal Fellowship Programme

The Kader Asmal Fellowship Programme is a joint initiative between the Irish Government and the Canon Collins Trust, a South African non-profit organization.

The program offers full scholarships covering tuition fees, living expenses, and travel costs for South African citizens to pursue Master’s degrees at approved Irish universities.

With a focus on disciplines relevant to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the KAFP seeks to build a network of future leaders equipped to address issues like poverty, inequality, and climate change.

The application process for the KAFP consists of two stages:

Stage 1 requires applicants to submit an online application form outlining their academic background, professional experience, leadership potential, and commitment to the SDGs in their home country.

In Stage 2, shortlisted candidates from Stage 1 are invited to submit a more detailed application form accompanied by supporting documents like academic transcripts, reference letters, and a letter of motivation.
