  2. Enter your details: Input your South African ID number and the phone number linked to your application.
  3. Submit and View Status: Click the “Check Status” button. The website will display your current application status (approved, pending, declined).

2. Contacting SASSA:

  1. Phone: Call the SASSA national toll-free number at 0800 60 10 11. Be prepared for potential waiting times.
  2. Visit your nearest SASSA office. Locate your closest office through the SASSA website.

How Much is the War Veterans Grant?

The exact amount of the War Veterans Grant according to the 1st October, 2023 SASSA grants increment is R2 110 per month for each person.
