The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) offers the Child Support Grant to eligible caregivers of children under 18.

The SASSA child grant provides much-needed financial assistance to raise a child.

As a responsible caregiver,  knowing your child’s grant balance is necessary for managing finances effectively.

What are SASSA Child Grants?

The SASSA Child Grant is a monthly payment provided to South African caregivers of children aged 0-17.

The grant aims to support the basic needs of these children, including food, clothing, and education.

Eligibility for the Child Support Grant is determined by SASSA based on the family’s income threshold and the child’s citizenship status.
