About the Bursary

Ceramic Industries (via Aquarella Investments 389 Pty Ltd) is a world-class manufacturer of tiles and bathroomware. 

It offers bursaries as part of its CSI vision to fund academically deserving young South Africans studying at recognized institutions, especially in scarce and critical skills areas.

Ceramic Industries prioritises applications from students in the following fields:

  2. Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Mining)
  3. Environmental Science / Environmental Management

Benefits for Recipients

The bursary typically covers tuition fees, and may include allowance, study materials, and exposure to vacation work at the company.

Eligibility Criteria

You must meet all of the following:

  1. Be a South African citizen
  2. Reside in one of these municipalities: Emfuleni, Merafong, Johannesburg, Tshwane (all in Gauteng) or Modimolle (Limpopo)
  3. Be in Matric or have completed Matric
  4. Be studying or intending to study in one of the listed fields at a recognized South African tertiary institution
  5. Be willing to undertake vacation work at Ceramic Industries
