Siyandisa Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Siyandisa Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. You must be a South African citizen.
  2. You must be entering your Matric year (Grade 12) in 2025 (application dates for the 2025 academic year are not yet available, but the 2024 application period has closed).
  3. You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 80% in your Grade 11 final year.
  4. You must be enrolled in a public school classified as quintile 1, 2, or 3. Quintile 1 schools are those most in need (poorest), while quintile 5 schools require the least financial assistance.
