2026 Excel@Uni Bursary: Apply Now for Students With Disabilities, Are you a South African student living with a disability and seeking full bursary support for your 2026 studies? The Excel@Uni Bursary 2026 offers full-cost funding for students pursuing a SAQA-accredited NQF 7 qualification or higher. Apply by Friday, 13 June 2025 at 12 midday to get tuition, accommodation, books, and more fully covered.

What the Bursary Covers
- Full tuition fees at any DHET-registered institution
- Prescribed textbooks and materials
- On-campus or off-campus accommodation
- Monthly meal and personal allowance
- Psycho-social support and private tutoring
- Work Readiness and Life Skills Programme
- Assistive technology stipend (based on disability)
Who Can Apply?
- South African citizens with a documented disability
- Currently registered for full-time studies in 2025 or starting in 2026
- Studying towards an NQF Level 7 (or higher) qualification
- Not repeating the same qualification level
- Under the age of 35 (preferred but not required)

How to Apply
Follow these steps to submit your application:
- Visit the official application form.
- Complete all sections truthfully. Use bursariesafrica.co.za as your referral source.
- Upload all required certified documents (not older than 3 months):
- South African ID
- Proof of disability (EEA1 Form and Doctor’s Letter)
- Academic transcripts or matric certificate
- Proof of household income
- University fee statement and lease (if off-campus)
Selection Process
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you do not hear back by 31 July 2025, consider your application unsuccessful.
