Step 3: Describe Your Interest

Tell us if you want bursaries, scholarships, admissions, or student loans?

This includes supporting research at a postgraduate level.

It is very important to understand the way HWSETA administers its funding.

Unlike many other bursaries, HWSETA usually does not accept applications directly from individual students.

Instead, they invite Expressions of Interest (EOI) from approved public universities, TVET colleges, and registered HWSETA employers.

Once an institution or employer secures the funding, they become responsible for selecting and recruiting the student beneficiaries.

If your public university has secured HWSETA postgraduate funding, you must meet the following general requirements.

Always confirm these details with your university’s Financial Aid or Research Office, as they manage the final selection.
