Fields of Study Funded
ARM offers bursaries to students enrolled up to Honours level in the following areas:
- Chemical, Mechanical, Mining, Metallurgical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering
- Geology
- Accounting, Commerce, Computer Science, IT
These fields are offered at accredited South African institutions, including UCT, UP, SU, and NWU.
Benefits for Recipients
This comprehensive bursary covers all essential study expenses for the full duration of the approved qualification, including:
- Registration and tuition fees
- Accommodation in university-residence
- Prescribed textbooks, laptop, data allowance, and meals
Recipients may also access vacation work experience and mentorship.
Eligibility Criteria
You must meet every requirement below:
- Be a South African citizen
- Completed Matric exam
- Be studying full-time in 2026 at UCT, UP, SU, or NWU in a supported field
- Be in 2nd year or higher, including Honours
- Maintain a strong academic performance
- Not currently receiving any other bursary funding
Applications failing to meet all criteria will not be considered.
