• Matric certificate with strong academic performance (usually average of 60% or higher)
  
• Demonstrate good behavioural standards
  
• Show financial need
  
• Willingness to relocate or work for AfriSam if requested
  Most awards favour Historically Disadvantaged South Africans and female candidates.
