Below is the complete, updated guide to the Moshal Scholarship Program for the 2026 academic year.

The Moshal Scholarship Program operates in South Africa and Israel. Established in 2009 by Martin Moshal and Yael Lavie, the initiative was created to empower determined students from low-income households to complete university degrees in professional fields.

The program currently supports approximately 1,000 students across South Africa and Israel. To date, over 1,173 students have graduated with complex and high-impact degrees.

The focus is not simply university access — it is graduation, employment, and long-term socioeconomic upliftment.

A Holistic Scholarship – Not Just Funding

What distinguishes the Moshal Program is its wrap-around support model.

The scholarship covers:

  • Full tuition fees
  • Living allowance
  • Meal allowance
  • Laptop allowance

In addition, students receive:

  • Dedicated Program Coordinators at partner universities
  • Personal mentoring and structured guidance
  • Career development support and employer engagement
  • Professional workshops and training
