Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be in Matric (Grade 12) or have completed Matric.
- Achieve at least 60% or a “C” symbol in Mathematics and Physical Science in Matric if still in school.
- If already at university, have a good academic record (no failed modules) and be studying towards the specified fields.
- Be or intend to register at a recognised and accredited South African tertiary institution.

- Documents typically include Matric or latest results, proof of registration or proof of application to university, CV, and motivational letter.

Include the following certified copies:
- Latest Matric certificate or final results (or mid-year / September marks if still in Matric)
- Proof of application or registration at a university for the Civil Engineering degree
- Full academic transcript if already studying at tertiary level
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Motivational letter (often about one page) explaining why you want the bursary
