Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Bursary Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Gauteng DSACR bursary, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be under 35 years old.
- Reside in Gauteng province and plan to study in or from Gauteng.
- Be accepted for, or registered in, a full-time undergraduate programme in one of the supported fields.
- Be studying (or intending to study) at a public tertiary institution (private institutions are excluded).
- Not be permanently employed at the time of application.

- Archive and Records Management (Bachelor)
- Library and Information Science (Bachelor)

What the Bursary Covers

- Registration fees.
However, the bursary does not cover costs such as books, transport, or accommodation.
