What the Mediclinic Bursary Covers
The bursary helps cover tuition fees for full-time students enrolled in the following fields at a registered South African institution:
- Nursing
- Pharmacy
- Emergency Medical Care
Note: The bursary is limited and highly competitive. Preference is given to applicants who meet Employment Equity criteria and demonstrate strong academic and financial need.
Who Should Apply?
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be accepted or registered at a recognised South African university or institution for a qualifying Bachelor’s degree
- Be in good academic standing (typically a B average or higher)
- Demonstrate financial need through supporting documents
- Preferably be from a previously disadvantaged background or Employment Equity group
